History

Okhta Group was founded in 2002. By the time of its creation, its top managers and shareholders had already worked for over 10 years in senior management posts in major Russian financial companies, developing a vast wealth of experience in the implementation of successful projects in the real estate sector, trust management and investment in the securities market. Joining forces and creating their own business was the next logical step in the professional development of this group of like-minded individuals, all of them aimed at effective work on the Petersburg real estate market on the basis of internationally accepted investment business practices.

A new stage in the company's development was signaled in the spring of 2008 when Russia Development Fund, created for effective investment in the real estate market in Russia and the CIS countries, became a shareholder in the company.

Okhta Group has taken part in more than 20 development projects. Information on many of these undertakings can be found in the Projects section. The total area of the commercial real estate sites constructed or reconstructed by the company, including business centers, industrial parks and multiple-use developments, amounts to about 300,000 square meters.

In 2003, the Okhta Group shareholders founded Svinin and Partners Asset Management Ltd. (indefinite-term license to carry out activities in the management of investment funds, mutual investment funds and non-state pension funds ¹21-000-1-00588). At present Svinin and Partners Asset Management Ltd. manages 6 closed-ended mutual investment funds.
